Yalding
The village of Yalding, which is a short walk across the Lees, is notable for its Georgian houses, old cottages and the quaint moated vicarage, Warde's Moat.
Yalding is also an ideal spot to stop for some afternoon tea at Teapot island which also hosts an extensive teapot museum or for alternative refreshment there is always the Anchor Inn. The Environment Agency maintains short-term moorings at this location.
