Locks

There are 10 locks on the non-tidal River Medway. They start at Tonbridge and finish at Allington.

Allington Lock provides passage between the tidal and non-tidal Medway. It can only be operated by the Environment Agency's navigation officers. To find out about Lock operating times, please visit our Allington Lock page.
